Hi there, I’m Mircea and I’m super glad you stopped by!

I’m a political science PhD student and researcher at Michigan State University. My interests lie mainly in comparative and African politics, with a particular focus on political behavior, public opinion, culture and values, and LGBTQ+ topics. The Washington Post recently published my article on the crisis in Cameroon, which you can find here: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/03/25/cameroons-citizens-are-losing-hope-that-their-country-can-remain-united/

I’m also an avid world traveler, political junkie and activist, health and fitness buff, yogi, outdoor enthusiast, actor and improviser, writer, volunteer, and vegan who loves living life to the fullest.

Please take a look around and don’t hesitate to contact me at mirceal95@gmail.com or lazarmi1@msu.edu if you have any questions.

I hope you have an awesome day!
